Lego City-Adventure Wheelstop.
Friday, July 2, 2010 at 9:55PM Below you will find the slideshow of some shots of the completed LEGO Space Shuttle Orbiter "Adventure" I am still trying to come up with a fictional OV number ;) As far as the build I'm quite impressed with the set overall. The landing gear actuation is probably one of the more impressive features. Also the detail and engines on the OMS pods is as satisfying in the real-life set as it looked on the videos. As a bonus you'll see the included satellite stows in the payload bay with the robot arm and everything buttons up nicely.
Piece wise the set has a TON of tiny tiny little angle pieces, 1x1 1x2 flat bricks, etc. which in my opinion kicked the difficulty of the build up a bit. Also if you notice the payload bay doors are 36 individual 1 brick wide angle pieces. Bottom line I'm very pleased with the set so far. I will build out the ET and SRBs over the course of the rest of the weekend. Take a look at the pics of the orbiter!!
